Tim is an Ozarks native, raised in a farming community north of Springfield. He graduated from Hillcrest High School and Missouri State University and has raised his kids here, this is home. Tim began his career in trust operations with Boatmen’s Trust Company in 1990. He was involved in the chartering of Trust Company of the Ozarks at its inception in 1998 and worked there as a Senior Vice President of Trust and Investment Planning until it was acquired by a large bank holding company out of Arkansas in 2015. He remained with the acquiring bank as a Senior Vice President into 2017.
After 28 years in the financial services industry including both independent trust company and large bank holding company trust department environments, Tim has experienced firsthand the benefits to the client that are only available in an independent trust company model. As a result of the void created in our market from the acquisition of the independent trust companies by larger banks, Tim recognized that a new option that challenged the bank holding company model for delivery of trust and investment management services was needed. He, along with a team of local employees and investors, chartered Missouri Trust & Investment Company on July 5, 2017 with the vision of satisfying that need with a personal service focus.
Tim serves as Missouri Trust and Investment Company’s President and is a shareholder and Director. Tim’s role includes advising clients on their personal financial, estate and investment planning needs along with sophisticated wealth management strategies. He is a listener and problem solver.
