Raymond began his career in the financial services industry in 2000 and has helped hundreds of clients identify their financial goals, develop investment portfolio solutions to meet those goals, and monitor progress towards achieving the goals. Prior to joining Missouri Trust & Investment Company, Raymond worked at national brokerage firms, an independent RIA in Springfield and a retirement plan consulting company in Springfield.

After growing up in North Carolina and beginning his career in Virginia, Raymond moved to Springfield in 2003. In 2007, Raymond obtained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, which requires study in the areas of estate planning, financial planning, insurance, investments and taxes. In 2018, Raymond obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation which is generally recognized as the highest distinction in the investment management profession and demonstrates superior competency in advanced portfolio management, financial expertise, and technical skills, underpinned by ethical conduct and the highest standards of practice.

Raymond leads the investment management team at Missouri Trust & Investment Company and advises institutional, retirement plan and individual clients on portfolio management, strategic and tactical asset allocation, and financial planning and wealth management strategies.

Interests and Activities

Raymond is married to Desirée and has four children, Bethany, Kristen, Sophia, and Nicholas. He is a board member of the City of Springfield Public Building Corporation. Raymond is also actively involved in his church, Harvest Ministries, and his children’s school, Gloria Deo Academy. If any time exist after church activities, school activities and spending time with family; Raymond enjoys travel, tennis, and reading.
